Large and beautiful Batik depicting Lord Shiva, with Trisul staff, wich support the "damuru", the sciamnic drum and a lustral -water pot. The right hand is rised in the Abhayamudra, dispelling the fear, while from the top of his crouching hair, the Ganga river is pouring on to the Earth. Around the neck he wear the rosary consisting of 108 grains of Rudraska and the Mucalinda serpent Cobra is wrapping on his shoulder in protective manner.
Hand-made in an artistic workshop in Benares during the 1970s.
